Peekywawa

Daddy was Chihuahua, Momma - Pekingese.

I am Peekywawa. Who needs pedigrees?

 

My person Persy, my one and only sweetsie,

Knits me many sweaters, bakes my favorite treatsies.

 

We were happy, just us twosy, until our ocean cruisy.

Met the handsome Petey. He became her sweetie.

 

One day in February, my sweater extra dandy,

Petey brought my Persy a heartsy box of candy.

 

I poked my nosy near the box all pink and redly.

Persy said, “No Peeky! Chocolates can be deadly!”

 

I had a sniffsy of the bonbons sweet and whiffsy.

When Persy left with Petey, I couldn’t help but eaty.

 

First, I took one bitesy. Since I felt alrightsy,

I ate a dozen chocolates. My tummy became tightsy.

 

It was awfully ouchy. I got sicksy on the couchy.

I couldn’t even movesy without feeling woozie.

 

Petey finally found me on the couchy, in the messy.

He saw the empty boxy. Boy did he get stressy!

 

I didn’t try to bite him. He rushed me to the vetsy.

I couldn’t even growlsie because I felt so lousy.

 

My hero now is Petey who really is a sweetie;

My lovely person Persy, the very nicest nursey.

 

After fluids given quicksie through a painful needle sticksie,

I happily got better. You like my get well sweater?
